Nutella-filled cupcakes with Nutella buttercream frosting

I adapted this recipe from My Baking Addiction
Add heavy cream 1 tablespoon at a time until the buttercream is at your preferred consistency
If you can't find hazelnuts, you can use any kind of hazelnut chocolate (candy bar, truffle, etc.)
NUTELLA CUPCAKES
INGREDIENTS

Filling
1 13-ounce jar of Nutella
Frosting
2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 13-ounce jar of Nutella
1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
3.5 cups powdered sugar, sifted
6 tablespoons heavy cream
DIRECTIONS

Core cupcakes
Fill with Nutella using piping tool
Frosting
Combine butter and Nutella in a large stand mixing bowl; mix on low-medium until creamy (5 minutes)
Gradually beat in powdered sugar until well-blended
Add vanilla and heavy cream. Beat on high until frosting is smooth (3 minutes)
Beat on high until smooth and creamy (7-10 minutes)
Pipe onto cupcakes and top with halved hazelnuts
